THE MAVIS WYNNE -
JENNY MILNER SCHOLARSHIP

The Mavis Wynne - Jenny Milner Scholarship was developed to support young women in the local Benalla area.

The Mavis Wynne Scholarship was instituted in 1987/88 to perpetuate the memory of Benalla born, Mavis Eileen Wynne (1917 - 1987). In 2025, the scholarship was renamed and merged with the Jenny Milner scholarship (founded in 2011). The scholarship also recognises Jenny Milner’s contribution as a long serving member of the Mavis Wynne Scholarship Committee (Jenny Milner 1953 - 2011). 

The scholarship is awarded at the Benalla College or FCJ end of year presentation evenings, depending on the scholarship winner’s secondary school.

The application period for 2025 is now open.
